Reference interviewing. Research using print, Internet, database and human sources. Experience with EBSCOhost and WilsonWeb-based databases. Reader’s advisory.

Web development
XHTML, CSS and site development using content management and digital collection systems including Textpattern, Drupal, Wordpress, Omeka and ContentDM. Working knowledge of javascript and PHP. Knowledge of MySQL, accessibility and usability studies.

Public access computing and server
Macintosh and Windows training and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of Debian-based Linux distributions. Familiarity with Linux-based servers, ethernet and wireless networking.

Instructional skills
Regular technology-topic presenter at state-level conferences. One-on-one and classroom reference and technology instruction including search engine, database and software use to audiences ranging from fellow staff to college students.

Graphic, Multimedia and Print Design
Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Quark XPress, negative and print scanning, pre-press, digital photography and basic audio and video editing.

Integrated Library Systems
Experienced with Sirsi Workflows, Koha and Evergreen ILS systems.

Productivity software
Experienced user of Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint and Open Office. Familiar with Access and Filemaker.

Management
Project management and shift supervision. Marketing and public relations.

Cataloging
Experience Dublin Core image cataloging. Knowledge of AACR2 and LCSH monograph cataloging.
